A visit to Cider Hill Farm is a must this fall – we’ve already gone twice! This beloved family-owned farm offers more than just apple picking; their Fall Festival is packed with fun. On weekends, you can enjoy live music, hayrides, and cider donuts that are simply irresistible (and our favorite ones around, too). Plus, their farm store is full of local goods, fresh produce, and delicious treats, perfect for stocking up before winter.

The Topsfield Fair is not just Bigfoot’s O’Neil family tradition, but a North Shore tradition that dates back to 1818! Known as America’s oldest agricultural fair, this event offers everything from livestock exhibitions to thrilling carnival rides. Bring the family to see the giant pumpkin contest, explore the petting zoo, and indulge in all the fair food your heart desires – we always get veggie tempura, bloomin’ onions and ice cream when we go! Needless to say, it’s one of our favorite fall events north of Boston.

This historic fair is perfect for homeowners who want to experience the local heritage, as well as for those who want to connect with the community. Plus, the fall foliage makes the fairgrounds even more magical.
